Change: footsteps. Remainder: compressed ground. Constraint: easier walking along the same route. Falsifier: later walkers show no measurable route bias under matched conditions.

Scientific concept

Change: an assumption enters a field's notation. Remainder: methods and problem statements inherit it. Constraint: some questions become easier to ask than others.

Machine service

Change: failures and repairs accumulate. Remainder: logs, patches, dependencies, and operator habits. Constraint: future behavior depends on that retained history.

Good output

A good CF reading produces a testable statement, not a poetic label. It should say what remained, what changed about reachability, and what evidence would force revision.
