Desiloization
Decompartmentalization without decontextualization.
Fractalish rejects disciplinary compartmentalization as a boundary on inquiry. Nature is not organized according to university departments, journal categories, grant programs, professions, commercial sectors, or inherited vocabularies.
Specialization is useful and must be preserved. But specialization must not become epistemic insulation.
Disciplines are metadata, not walls.
Specialization is an instrument of precision.
Epistemic insulation is a source of blindness.
Every claim must travel with its trace and its source context.
Guardrails
- Similarity is not identity.
- Visual resemblance is insufficient.
- Shared vocabulary is insufficient.
- Mathematical resemblance is insufficient.
- Every source domain must retain its terminology, mechanism, scale, boundary conditions, uncertainty, provenance, and failure modes.
- Cross-domain abstraction must be stored separately from the domain-native account.
- A candidate correspondence must earn relevance through prediction, perturbation, reconstruction, invariant preservation, transfer, independent recurrence, or residue accounting.
Invitation
Researchers, skeptics, domain experts, public works people, students, artists, engineers, and outsiders are invited to challenge, test, extend, and correct the vocabulary.
If your field has already named one of these geometries, bring the name. If your field has data, bring the data. If our interpretation fails, submit the failure. Proof-negative cases are as valuable as proof-positive cases because AMCVA is how the system refuses false geometry.
