The first application lane remains roads and public works because it is visually obvious, low regulatory risk, and compatible with manifest-first publication.
The recovery wake hypothesis fits this lane well: pavement morphology may preserve evidence of split propagation around voids, patches, aggregate boundaries, and water-channel damage, followed by downstream preferred routing.
Do not publish third-party assets until rights are verified. Where rights remain unresolved, publish a manifest entry and source link instead of the asset itself.
