# Fractalish AI Public Laboratory Implementation Report

Date: 2026-09-13
Release state: live and cache-busted on the canonical domain
Orientation authority: CF v0.4 RC1 canonical candidate, not frozen
Project-claim authority: each frozen or status-bearing source artifact remains authoritative for its own claims

## Result

Fractalish now has a first-class AI public laboratory rooted at `/ai`. It presents the machine-intelligence program as mixed-maturity research: frozen narrow implementations, tested infrastructure, active experiments, specifications, historical lineage, negative results, publication holds, and unresolved bridges. It does not present MFM, Formative Field, distributed embodiment, physical substrate work, or heterogeneous AI collaboration as achieved intelligence or validation of Consequential Formation.

The public center of gravity is the distinction `CAPABILITY != HOST POLICY != ACQUIRED FORMATION`. The new section asks whether experience can leave executable consequence that causally changes what the same profiled host later notices, rejects, trusts, retrieves, tests, recovers, or reaches.

## Pre-Edit Audit

The audit was performed before substantial site copy was written. It inspected source artifacts, authority markers, tests and receipts where present, supersession statements, negative results, explicit exclusions, and the functional role of projects whose names do not contain "AI."

Inspected source families and locations:

- Deployable Fractalish public-site repository and the CF v0.3/v0.4 orientation package
- Baby AI / FormationCore authority, freeze, and synthesis records
- Cognitive Basin platform and Natural Math project corpora
- Formative Field Computing, CRR, FPG, BSR, DEC, and Latent Role Intelligence lineage
- Portable Intervention Assay v0.3 and authenticated-DAG closure work
- Differential Dissolution Twin-History Pass 1A and its retired rich-battery predecessor
- Research Query public core, private R2R promotion-control metadata, and SERA literature radar
- Formation Stream, ASF/APTD Sensor Fabric, ConnectorDome, and PERCEPT-related records
- AIA stock-device tranche and Motorola native-activation reconnaissance
- BigQuery Distributed Power Assay and Flyshaft KESS source material
- Anti-Illogical records, Authority Compiler public fragment, and Q* Coherence Kernel
- Existing public Ageometrics, Specificity, CNTM, Natural Math, research, evidence, status, and historical routes

Exact workstation topology, credentials, device identifiers, and private source contents are intentionally not reproduced in public artifacts.

## Inventory Outcome

The audit resolved 31 distinct project or artifact families. Duplicate backups, generated copies, and worktrees were treated as lineage or corroborating copies, not as independent evidence.

Required relevance classes are all represented:

- `CORE_AI`
- `DIRECT_SUPPORT`
- `ENABLING_INFRASTRUCTURE`
- `PHYSICAL_SUBSTRATE_BRIDGE`
- `EMBODIMENT_OR_ENERGY_BRIDGE`
- `HISTORICAL_LINEAGE`
- `ADJACENT_ONLY`
- `UNCERTAIN`

Machine-readable authority and publication fields are in `docs/AI_RESEARCH_INVENTORY.json`. The narrative inventory is in `docs/AI_RESEARCH_INVENTORY.md`; typed project relations are in `docs/AI_RELATION_MAP.md`; publication decisions and holds are in `docs/AI_PUBLICATION_REVIEW_QUEUE.md`.

## Projects Surfaced Beyond the Prompt

The functional pass recovered several relevant families that a keyword-only scan could have missed or misclassified: Formation Stream, SERA literature radar, Research Query/R2R promotion control, Authority Compiler, ASF, ConnectorDome, AIA, Motorola reconnaissance, Portable Intervention Assay, Twin-History Pass 1A, Anti-Illogical, BigQuery Distributed Power Assay, Flyshaft KESS, Ageometrics/Specificity, and Latent Role Intelligence.

Their inclusion is not a maturity promotion. Research Query remains a tested core without the absent web, Windows, or contribution surfaces; PIA remains blocked before execution; KESS remains an adjacent source with no established AI bridge; and Q* remains HOLD because sufficient authority for its strong maturity language was not located.

## Public Information Architecture

Added routes:

- `/ai`
- `/ai/research`
- `/ai/team`
- `/ai/method`
- `/ai/experiments`
- `/ai/artifacts`
- `/ai/failures`
- `/ai/build-log`

The shared primary navigation is now `Start Here | Framework | AI | Projects | Evidence | Search`. The homepage contains a bounded AI-laboratory doorway, and `/documents` contains the public inventory record. The Journey/Record canon-collapse architecture remains unchanged.

## Publication Decisions

Published as bounded summaries or links:

- FormationCore frozen narrow behavior, Authority Compiler finite fragment, ASF read-only witnesses, Research Query core, Formation Stream, AIA stock-device tranche, ConnectorDome, and project-specific public records
- MFM, Formative Field, Formation Codec, state-transfer objects, distributed embodiment, and energy ecology only at their stated candidate/specification status
- Grok, Qwen, and Kimi only as model-family labels found in inspected historical team packets; no provider endorsement is implied

Held, excluded, or marked uncertain:

- Private code, private promotion semantics, credentials, device identifiers, raw private receipts, correspondence, and unrelated personal/family material
- Third-party paper bodies and rights-uncertain team packets
- Q* "production-ready" language, KESS-to-AI claims, and BigQuery energy/intelligence conclusions
- Any identity transfer, achieved MFM intelligence, consciousness, device mind, universal grammar, universal energy ranking, or biological-substrate requirement

## Negative Results and Supersession

- The Twin-History rich 72-dimensional battery is retained as a retired overfit instrument; Pass 1A is only `INSTRUMENT_READY` and does not establish memory, cognition, or a history effect.
- PIA v0.3 retains its harness-acceptance blocker and has no result claim.
- Research Query explicitly records absent Windows, web-service, and contribution UI surfaces.
- Motorola native activation remains failed-safe reconnaissance, not a custom operating system or device mind.
- FFC/CRR/FPG/BSR, DEC, and Latent Role Intelligence remain visible as historical formation where CF v0.4 RC1 now supplies the current orientation.
- No project was silently reconciled across conflicting status or authority records.

## Access Limits

This was a broad functional audit, not a forensic image of every byte on every volume. Encrypted, cloud-only, disconnected, permission-denied, deleted, unmounted, and third-party account content was not available. The designated R2R verbicentric source root was empty. Duplicate backup/worktree trees were sampled for lineage rather than exhaustively reread. Model caches, application folders, and unrelated private domains were excluded by design.

## Files Changed

Primary authored files:

- `ai.html` and seven `ai/*.html` routes
- `docs/AI_RESEARCH_INVENTORY.md`
- `docs/AI_RESEARCH_INVENTORY.json`
- `docs/AI_RELATION_MAP.md`
- `docs/AI_PUBLICATION_REVIEW_QUEUE.md`
- `AI_SITE_IMPLEMENTATION_REPORT.md`
- `index.html`, `documents.html`, `README.md`, `CHANGELOG.md`
- `_partials/site-header.html`, `_partials/site-footer.html`, `assets/site.css`
- `scripts/apply-ux-sprint1.mjs`, `scripts/validate-public-site.mjs`, `scripts/test-search.mjs`
- `sitemap.xml`, generated search inventories, and Search Worker crawler version 13

The generator propagated the shared navigation/footer change across the static HTML corpus. Those generated changes do not revise the pages' substantive claims.

Cache-busted canonical-domain verification passed for the homepage, all eight AI routes, `/documents`, `/scientific-neighbors`, the four AI record downloads, the 31-record JSON payload, and search status/index endpoints. Every checked route returned HTTP 200. The live site preserved Sara Imari Walker's bounded Scientific Neighbors entry and the six-item primary navigation.

Live Chromium verification passed at 1440 x 900 and 390 x 844 for the homepage and all eight extensionless AI routes with one H1, no horizontal overflow, and six primary navigation items. Production search ranked the AI team, Heterogeneous Research Loop, AI artifacts, AI failures, and Sara Walker to their intended public routes.
